Our Wonderful Stories
Geraldine and Joey are wonderful to work with. They very passionate and motivated individuals who truly care about the children's well-being. My son looks forward to attending social group every week with them and his social skills have really improved since he started. He has been able to apply the skills he learnt in social group both at home and in school.
Geraldine and Joey communicate openly and regularly with very detailed weekly reports and photo documentation so you can monitor the progress of your child's social learning journey. They work closely together with parents to maintain consistency in the classroom, home and at school.
Their dedication and passion truly shows in the work they do with neurodivergent children, I would highly recommend them.

It was heartbroken to know that my son has ASD. I still remembered how I cried over those sleepless nights, feeling helpless and demoralised until I met Geraldine. Over these plus years, I often think back and feel gratitude towards Geraldine and all the positive impacts she brought to my son and even on my family.
Being an intervention therapist is not easy, and gaining trust from their parents is probably even harder. Intervention result is something that can’t be quantified; each individual's pace also varies. ‘Customize’ is a crucial step in designing the intervention approaches. Geraldine never failed to surprise us - knowing my son loves spinning stuff, she made a spinning toy button at home and brought it over to class. My son was fascinated by the toy and start to request more times, which inspired him to request by using language.
I start to realise those efforts that Geraldine put on my son isn’t something that can be quantified, and having a comrade in fighting this ASD condition made me relieved.
Professionalism is something that I was impressed by Geraldine as well. Despite her young age, she holds a linguistics degree has been working in this industry with different groups and setting for more than five years. Over the past year, I consulted her for a lot of questions, from my son behaviour issues to academic planning, enrichment class selection, etc. She always provides very comprehensive answers and constructive feedback.
Besides that, I always cherish the relationship that we built with her over the past year. There were twists and turns on this intervention journey. We are so thrilled to have Geraldine guide us and celebrate all the joyful milestones with us together! I can’t say enough thanks to Geraldine.

I’m so lucky to have found Joey. She shadowed my 4-year-old autistic son in a mainstream school. Thanks to her, he adapted very quickly to the school routine and learned so many new skills including riding a bike, waiting, asking for help and engaging with his classmates.
My son still has home-based therapy with Joey and is always very excited to see her. She makes the sessions fun and always thinks of new ways to motivate him to learn new things. In the last few months his speech, gross and fine motor skills have improved tremendously.
I would never hesitate to recommend Joey to my friends as she is one of the best therapists my son has ever had. It is not easy to find a therapist like Joey who is very knowledgeable, positive, reliable and helpful. She truly loves working with kids and helping them master new skills.

D has been diagnosed with ASD when he was 6 years old in 2021. He is currently schooling in a mainstream primary school. Earlier this year, he faced challenges coping and regulating his emotions that led to his frequent outburst in school.
Through Wonderfully You, D gets to work closely with Janet. Janet is a dedicated and patient therapist. She takes an extra effort to prepare learning materials for D, sets achievable goals for D. D looks forward to each session with Janet. During the sessions, D explored the possible scenarios and role played how he could manage his emotions in and react accordingly to defuse the tense situation.
Janet works closely with me, providing an update after every therapy session so that I can better support D in regulating his emotions. Janet also went the extra mile to attend a virtual meeting with D’s school AED so that we could better support D in school and at home. D’s school teachers and AED shared that D has shown progress in regulating his emotions. D is observed to be more attentive and on task in his school work as well.
Indeed, it takes a village to raise a child. I am very thankful and blessed to have Janet and Joey (our coordinator) to journey with us to empower D in regulating his emotions.

We have been with Teacher Geraldine since 2017. Teacher Geraldine is professional, at the same time, caring and loving. She is someone that could be trusted and she always wants to give the best to my son! She always promptly adjusts the syllabus and way of approaching according to my son's development. Guiding and teaching a kid with autism could be very tough but I feel grateful to have her besides us and accompany us throughout the journey!

Our daughter has been with Teacher Geraldine for the last 5 months, we have seen her improve her speech. Before, she had been initiating communication with holding hands and pointing. Now she initiates and communicates verbally by looking at our faces. Teacher Geraldine is very fun to be with and her approaches have eliminated some of our daughter’s fears and frustrations.
Teacher Geraldine also helps us implement some of these teaching practices/techniques in our home environment. Now we see a more verbal daughter and this gives us immeasurable joy. We recommend Teacher Geraldine and her fun-loving approaches to teaching.

I am pleased to share our wonderful journey throughout the therapy Joey had with my son.
Joey is very kind and a person with a lot of patience. Having to build trust with a young toddler is not an easy task. However, Joey can almost immediately adjust her teaching method to suit my child. My child has grown to love Joey after a couple of session, and they seem to be like a buddy!
Joey never fails to update us after each session with photos and video and stated very clearly on each of our son’s achievement. Joey also always goes beyond to help us with our child’s development.
Most importantly, the results we see after each of Joey’s session were very encouraging. We will recommend Joey to any parents with children of special needs. Proud parent ❤️
